Yardnique began operations 1997 when Brian DuMont , the company founder and CEO, was a junior at NC State University pursuing his horticulture science degree. Providing landscape and yard maintenance services to residential customers as a means to for income while in school turned into a full-time business upon his graduation. Today, Yardnique is in the top 25 Landscaping Companies in the U.S. and employs over 2000 landscape and lawncare professionals and with its crews and bright orange trucks serving the unique needs of HOAs and community property managers across the southeastern United States.

2023 CFHLA Hospitality Gala
This year, CFHLA celebrated and honored our 2023 award winners including the Charles Andrews Memorial Hospitality Award for community Leadership, Lodging Member of the Year, Allied Member of the Year, and our Engineer of the Year.
Additionally, the 2024 CFHLA Executive Committee, along with our re-elected and newly elected/appointed 2024 CFHLA Board of Directors were announced. Lastly, 2023 was a momentous year for CFHLA, and we shared this YEAR-END VIDEO which included our accomplishments throughout the year!
Former GOAA Executive Carolyn Fennell Receives CFHLA’S Highest Honor
This year’s Charles Andrews Memorial Hospitality Award recipient was presented to Carolyn Fennell, former Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and Community Relations at the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) for the past four decades. This award is the highest honor bestowed upon an individual by CFHLA, as the award is named after the first CFHLA Board of Directors Chairperson, Charles Andrews. Ms. Fennell was the first woman to receive this recognition from CFHLA and the award
recognized her achievements and contributions to Central Florida’s Hospitality Industry, as well as the community at-large.
CFHLA would like to thank Ms. Fennell for being a passionate champion of the tourism and hospitality industry, as well as understanding the importance of creating a positive first impression and a memorable experience at the airport.
