Charming, our recipient for Outstanding Laundry Employee of the Year, has been spreading smiles and positive energy to everyone around her for almost ten years at her current property. She is known for providing the best customer service to visitors and for making each one always feel special.

She makes a point to celebrate coworkers’ accomplishments by organizing birthday and holiday celebrations. Additionally, to build relationships and rapport with other departments, Charming ensures the laundry department participates in interdepartmental competitions such as holiday door decorating competitions or pumpkin carving contests.

This stand-out employee is highly motivated and holds herself to high standards, always following all department procedures accurately and continuing to look for new ways to improve the department’s operations.

Furthermore, managers say Charming is full of energy and enthusiasm in all she does. She gives back to guests, coworkers, and our community, often serving food and clothes to those in need on Sundays near Lake Eola in downtown Orlando. On several other occasions, Charming has helped coworkers financially when they were experiencing difficult financial situations, even when the money she gave was all she had for herself at the moment. We celebrate Charming’s passion and dedication to the hotel guests, her coworkers and to serving our community.
