Kevin, our Outstanding Convention Center / Banquet Employee of the Year, has been with the company for only a few years but has earned a reputation for having endless optimism, a ready smile, a lighthearted nature, a stellar work ethic, and always remains customer oriented.

One night, a client was waiting for the set-up team to finish so she could place collateral on every chair for the next morning’s meeting. At this time, it was well past midnight, and she was eager to finish for the night. Without hesitation, Kevin offered to stay late to place the items at every table so she could return to her room to rest before the program began early the next morning. The client was beyond grateful and made sure to later highlight Kevin’s kind act as one of the main reasons her program was a great success.

Managers appreciate Kevin’s resourceful attitude and track record as a reliable problem solver. He recently initiated a project to refurbish worn-out riser carpets, used every week for banquets and conventions. He utilized carpet spray paint and repainted the worn metal legs to make the old risers look as good as new, and colleagues were delighted with the results!

Furthermore, on top of it all, Kevin recently obtained his lifelong dream of supporting his family and becoming a U.S. citizen at the end of last year.
