Sunny, who was recognized as the Outstanding Back Office Employee of the Year, is known for her spirit of collaboration by mentoring young staff members, creating a culture of excellence, and developing a highly performing support team for the hotel’s general manager.

Sunny has exceptional communication and organizational skills, team leadership skills, and crisis management expertise and is praised for constantly focusing on self-improvement. She plays a crucial role in the team’s success by planning and executing high-profile projects and VIP guest events and by helping the hotel’s departments communicate effectively so they can work together successfully.

Additionally, she plays an active role in many of the company’s community service projects, regularly visiting schools to help students as part of the CFHLA Adopt-A-School program. Sunny says it gives her great joy to see students pouring their hearts into the local culinary programs and reminds her why we must continue to support these programs!

Sunny balances the challenges of working in the executive offices with raising four beautiful children and running two businesses with her husband. She has such a strong commitment to excellence that Sunny was promoted from food and beverage operations into the executive offices within one year of starting at the property.
