Weynshete, the Outstanding Culinary Employee of the Year, has created delicious delights for guests for many years. She has experience in preparing sushi, cheeseboards, order requisitions, omelets, and many other dishes that guests remember with a smile for many years.

Managers say this team player uses her talents every day to encourage coworkers and help them improve their cooking and other work skills. Additionally, she makes a point to share ideas and listen to feedback, so the team enjoys an open dialogue on important issues affecting the kitchen, which builds team morale and improves guest experiences.

Weynshete used to spend Sundays preparing sushi in front of guests and worked two years in the banquet department before transferring to the Tradewinds omelets station. She starts every guest’s morning with a big smile and hello, a welcoming attitude and a customized omelet just the way they like it to start their day.

This reliable role model is now celebrating 31 years of amazing, dedicated service at the same hotel, and along the way has picked up the title “Sushi Queen”, mother of two, and two-time five diamond award winner.

Weynshete’s journey took her from Africa to Greece to Orlando for an amazing and impactful culinary career!
