Grants/Scholarships
CFHLA awards a variety of scholarships and grants throughout the year in support and betterment of those in the hospitality industry, as well as the community in general.
Available grants and scholarships are listed below:
Employee & Family Member Scholarships
Student Requirements:
- The Student Applicant must be a "full-time" / hourly / non-management employee OR an immediate family member (spouse, sibling, or dependent child) of a “full-time" / hourly / non-management employee at a CFHLA Lodging Member Establishment OR CFHLA Allied Member Company.
The Student Applicant must hold a GPA of 2.5 or greater.
The Student Applicant must be currently enrolled or accepted to an accredited college in the United States.
The Applicant must be pursuing a degree with a college graduation date projected for Spring 2026 or later.
High School students graduating in 2025 are eligible to apply and must be fully admitted to an accredited college or university in the United States by September 2025.
Past Scholarship Honorees may re-apply.
This scholarship must be applied to the cost of tuition, fees, and/or textbooks.
The 2025 Employee & Family Member Scholarships applications are opening January 2025.
Hospitality / Culinary Student Scholarships
2025 Currently Enrolled College Student Requirements:

Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student pursuing a certificate, minor, undergraduate, or graduate degree at a Central Florida Hospitality Program or Culinary Program, with a college graduation date projected for Spring 2026 or later.
- Full-Time and Part-Time Students may apply.

Applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Applicants must be a 2025 Central Florida High School Graduate, registered at a Central Florida accredited College or University pursuing a certificate, minor, undergraduate, or graduate degree in a Hospitality Program or Culinary Program, by September 20254.

2025 FULL RIDE Scholarship Requirements:

Applicants must be a 2025 Central Florida High School Graduate, registered at a Central Florida accredited College or University pursuing a certificate, minor, undergraduate, or graduate degree in a Hospitality Program or Culinary Program, by September 2025.

Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
The 2025 Hospitality Education Scholarship applications are opening January 2025.
